Privacy Policy

This policy explains how we process personal data on this website, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, "GDPR").

1. Controller

2. What we collect

• Contact form: your name, company, work email, the role you select and the content of your message.
• Direct contact: whatever you send us by email or telephone.
• Technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, date and time of request) to keep the site secure and available. They are not used to profile visitors.

We use no analytics, tracking or marketing cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your cookie-banner choice, so we do not ask again.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Answering your enquiry and preparing a possible engagement — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries).
• Keeping the website secure and available — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• If you introduce yourself as a freelance consultant: assessing a possible collaboration and keeping your profile on file — Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

4. Processors

• Web3Forms — delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox.
• Cloudflare Pages — hosting and content delivery.
• Our email provider — receiving and storing correspondence.

Each acts as a processor under contract and may use the data only to provide its service. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, transfers are covered by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell personal data and never pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

5. Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact. Data linked to a contract is kept for the term of the contract and for the retention periods required by Portuguese commercial and tax law. Server logs are kept for a few weeks at most.

6. Your rights

You may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, the restriction of processing, and its transfer in a portable format, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it at any time with future effect. Write to projects@hrdigitalconsulting.com and we will answer within one month.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Portugal that is the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), cnpd.pt.

7. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or the applicable rules change. Last updated: August 2026.
